2008 Bodrum Open Championship Results
October 10th-12th was the dates for the Bodrum Open Championship, a major backgammon tournament of the WBF Turkey. The event was held at the Delfi Hotel in Bodrum, Turkey. This is the fifth leg of the tour and the Main Event is Double Elimination Play.

During the tournament there were six categories and thirty hours of play. Included in those categories were Jackpot, Consultant Doubles, Women Exclusive and Modern Backgammon. Seventy five players participated in the tournament from all over including: Zonguldak, Antalya, Izmir and Istanbul.

Eyup Durmus was able to outlast the competitors and take the win after winning six matches in a row. The final match lasted just over an hour and clinched Durmus victory with a 7-2 overall win.
