Backgammon Tournaments held in Riga

The Association for Development of Sports in Latvia organized the first ever long and short backgammon tournament to take place in Riga. A total of forty people competed in the first competition which lasted well into the night. (29/06)

Carol Joy Cole Wins American Backgammon Tour US Open

The American Backgammon Tourís US Open recently took place on June 4th through the 7th in Washington D.C. Twenty four players competed in the event and it was Carol Joy Cole who managed to outlast the field and take down the win. (18/06)

Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center Raises $1,100 during Charity Backgammon Tournament

The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center in Bellingham held their first ever Compete for a Cause Backgammon tournament on May 30th to raise money for the center. The backgammon tournament was able to raise $1,100 in funds which will help the center educate and train people in peaceful conflict resolution. (15/06)

Jadestone Networks is the Swedish owner and operator of GamArena and DiceArena which are multiplayer skill gaming networks. Jadestone recently went live with their new backgammon network which can be found on bwin and Finlandís Paf. (08/06)

Uli Koch Wins London Open Backgammon Championship

The first ever CasinoRip London Open Backgammon Championship concluded this past weekend and it was German Uli Koch who bested Julian Fetterlein during the final to take the first place prize. (04/06)
