Backgammon Master Rries out Idea of Linden Currency
Backgammon Masters has recently conducted a study of 500 of their players that are outside of the United States and asked players whether they would be interested in using the Second Life virtual currency "Linden" on the Backgammon Masters site. The results of the survey showed that only 20 players out of the 500 that were surveyed had even heard of it.

Two out of the twenty players said that they might be interested in using Linden to play with at Backgammon Masters. The site offered those that participated in the survey the possibility to exchange Linden currency winning for real monies during the cash out process but it appears as if no one was interested.

The site offers many currency options, such as, USD, GBP, Euro, CND, Australian Dollar, Czech Koruna, Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, Hungarian Forint, Norwegian Krone, Polish Zloty, New Zealand Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Swiss Franc, Swedish Krona and South African Rand. The players however said that playing for real currencies is a great deal more exciting and don't want to switch.
