The Meribel Backgammon Association is set to begin their inaugural tournament this winter when it kicks off on December 10th. The tournament is highly anticipated with many people gathering to compete and try their hand at winning great prizes.

The event will begin on December 10th when players register at the Grizzli Backgammon Room at the Hotel la Chaudanne. Play will then begin immediately after registration with dinner beginning at 8:30 pm. play will then continue after dinner.

The tournament will then begin at 1pm on Friday at the Les Pierre Plates restaurant and a €30 entry is required. This entry fee includes cable car tickets that will take the players up to the top of the mountain for the backgammon game.

The tournaments will continue throughout the weekend with the last tournament, the Doubles Consultation Tournament, which will begin at 7:45 pm on Sunday December 14th. Prizes of the tournaments will include cash, dinner at Le Refuge Restaurant, bottles of champagne and skis.

The Meribel Backgammon Association has organized this event and is hoping to hold many more backgammon events in the future.
