The Nevada Backgammon Association is hosting a backgammon tournament this November with all degrees of competition. The event is called the Las Vegas Open Backgammon Tournament and it will take place from the 4th to the 8th of November at the Riviera Hotel.

The Open is an invitation only event and players must play on there playing level only. Players must bring their own board to participate and players will have side events they can participate in as well as the main event.

Side events include: Blitz, Mini-Match, Doubles, Super Jackpot, Limited Jackpot, open Jackpot, seniors, beginners tournament, $100 jackpot, $300 jackpot and the after tournament tournament. Each tournament will have a Championship, Intermediate and Beginner division and each division will have a different tournament fee. The beginner’s fee will be smaller than the Championship level.

Each day will see various tournaments with the first tournament beginning around 11:00 am or noon depending on which day of the Open it is. Players can find a full schedule at the Nevada Backgammon Association website as well as other tournament information.
