Play65, the largest backgammon website in the world is sending four of its top backgammon players to the most prestigious backgammon tournament in the world. Beginning October 20th through November 10th on Saturday nights, Play65 members will have the opportunity to play the Special Italy Tournament.

32 players will play for a share of $1000 and the winner overall will win an all expense paid trip to the Venice International Backgammon Tournament. This includes fees for the tournament, roundtrip flight, 50 Euros a day for spending money and 5 days at the beautiful, luxury hotel, Sofitel Venezia.

The 19th City of Venice event is scheduled to begin on November 28th and on December 2nd 2007. There is a lot of money to win at this prestigious Tournament as well. The European Backgammon Tour (EBGT) is arranged by the World Backgammon Association and is held in high esteem with backgammon players around the world.
