World Series of Backgammon Set to Launch Online Platform
Later this month the World Series of Backgammon is set to launch their online platform. The World Series will be using its third season in Cannes as a launching pad to help the platform. The online site will be a place where players can register and take part in heads up cash games, online qualifying tournaments and much more.Players will also be able to practice their skills on the new site. Those who compete in the online qualifying tournaments will be able to win seats to the live tour events, which is also exciting.
On a Roll Limited is the exclusive license holder of the World Series of Backgammon brand and the managing director, Andy Bell, created the concept of the World Series three years ago. Bell commented: “We’ve come a long way to be where we are at the start of this exciting tour. Building on a number of valuable new partnerships, the new online platform will be a home to potentially thousands of backgammon players who look for regular match and tournament play. The mix of online, live events and the television deals we have in place with the likes of Eurosport and ESPN International, make this a tantalizing combination.”
When the Cannes tournament begins, the new World Series of Backgammon site will go live and be presented to players. So backgammon fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming days.
